Farmhouse in the polder

My clients had bought an old barn with adjacent house in a great spot. In the middle of the ‘polder’. A challenge because the interior had to be completely redesigned.
Together, we carefully selected the new layout, colors and materials to use.

Style and preservation of authentic details have been consistently implemented throughout. The barn has been completely demolished and has become the main living space. During the demolition, the authentic wooden beams and poles emerged. In the already existing house, a guesthouse has been created downstairs and upstairs the private bedroom and bathroom with detached bath.
The last photo in the photo shoot is a picture of the old state of the barn.
